Welcome to our campsite in Ziegenrück, in the middle of the Thuringian Sea region and the Thuringian Slate Mountains.
We offer 50 permanent parking spaces and 50 tourist parking spaces, of which about 30 are spaces only for tents.
Reservations are not necessary, we look forward to seeing you!
The Plothenbach, which is used by young and old to build, play, splash around and refresh - also with shady places - runs across our square.

by the stream, surrounded by forest, in the valley,
on the outskirts of Ziegenrück,
Distance to the Saale approx. 500 m,
Beginning of the reservoir approx. 1 km,
Bathing possibilities approx. 2-5 km,

Equipment on site:
WC, showers, emptying camping toilets,
Washing machine, baby changing room, water extraction point for canisters, washing-up area, playground and sports field

The forest adventure trail on the Saale peninsula was newly created in 2014 - for young and old, for school trips ...
The nearby Hohenwartestausee (Saale approx. 500 m away, the beginning of the Hohenwartestausee approx. 2 km) starting after Ziegenrück can be reached on foot or by car - there are opportunities for swimming, fishing and water sports.
You can easily walk to the town of Ziegenrück.
